Today is the Day

Today I am sitting here waiting for the evening to come with an anticipation that I haven't felt in a long time. Today is the day of our home consultation with our DHS representative. I have done everything that I can think of to prepare myself and the house. Yet, my heart races and I find it hard to sit still.

Today is the day we either move forward with the adoption process or get stopped in our tracks. Based on what I know of our home and our family, I can't see any reason why someone else wouldn't see how wonderful it is and want to place another child here.

Please, Please, Please be praying for us. Even Gavin is looking forward to this evening. He wants a "sissy".
