| Adoption Progress |
After waiting several months, DHS finally received information that there is nothing listed in the FBI files about me or Heather. Whew that's a relief. I thought they would find out about my secret identity (lol). Everyone can now be reassured that we are who we've always claimed to be. We are not theives, murders, or CPAs. The only thing the FBI found is that we help pay for their salaries.
So with that said, we are now gearing up again for the adoption process. Our case worker from DHS will come to our home on March 7 for the intial consultation. From there, we'll go through training. I think after that time a formal home study will be conducted.
Heather and I are excited. We welcome you to join us in prayer and (house cleaning) as we travel down this road that God has placed before us. There is a child at there that needs a home. My prayer is that God will send her to us in His time. I'm serious about the house cleaning. If there is a nice Saturday and you are bored, feel free to drop by. I got make repairs to the fence. I've got to finish upgrading Heather's table. I need to clean the garage and make a run to the dump. I need to do something about the leaves and other junk in the backyard. We need to do several things in the next couple of weeks that will give our case worker a good first impression.
Saddle up your horses. It's time to ride!!!!!!!! |
