| Hello all |
Hello all my faithful readers. I want to apologize. The last few weeks I haven't blogged as much as I wanted to. I had a nice New Years blog in mind, but i never wrote about it. I may have to come back to that in a little while.
I want to say that I'm really proud of Gavin. He is doing a great job in potty training. On the wall of the bathroom, Gavin has a chart. Everytime he goes to the bathroom and does his business, he gets a sticker to put on his chart. Once he fills up his chart, he gets a special prize. It's usually a new toy. He's adament about his stickers. He knows when his chart is full because he starts talking about the next prize he wants. Is it bribery? I think not. It's behavior training with positive reinforcement. (I did pay attention to some of my psycology class).
Heather's doing really good. She has set a record. She was able to go 2 months without a migraine. It decided to rear it's ugly head last week, but she's better. I think she may have a little case of cabin fever. Ever since her car broke down, she's been without a vehicle. I have good news on this. We now have her car back where it belongs: in our drive way. Today we got the car back. It runs pretty good now. We had to replace both head gaskets and one switch for the EGRD valve (whatever that is). Praise God that the transmission didn't get messed up.
I'm doing pretty good. I'm having to cut my staff at work. It's a new experience. I'm not sure if I like that part of being a supervisor. Other than that, my life is boring.
That's us in a nutshell. I promise to keep this blog rolling again. I need to make it sing and dance and do tricks. |
