Gavin just loved the snow that fell last Thursday. I wish you all could have seen him running around making prints in the snow and trying to catch the snow flakes on his tongue. He was so excited!

Speaking of excited...We have a praise report! Gavin was accepted into the PLEP program at UALR. He starts school tomorrow! He will be going to class on Monday and Wednesday mornings. We have been trying to get him in to this program since last fall and a space has finally opened up! To put the icing on the cake...Gavin was awarded a full scholarship to cover the cost of the tuition! Gavin and I were able to meet a couple of the teachers on Friday while we checked out the classroom. I know that Gavin is going to love it.

Also of importance...Darren's first official day of school is tomorrow as well! Both of my boys are going to school. Darrren is excited but also a little nervous. (I think it is the threat of having to write papers!!!)

Keep us in your prayers as we go through this week of excitement and transition. Although we know these changes are good they may still be difficult.

P.S. Grunkle Kenny and Uncle Patrick...Gavin wants his "Boop" and "Diddy" to come pick him up for a weekend of fun. (at least that is what he said this afternoon!) He misses you guys!
