Last Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting Gavin's cousins for lunch and play time. It was good to see them all together again. We hadn't seen each other since Elizabeth's birthday party back in November. That is a really long time for the cousins to be apart. They were excited to see each other and get a chance to play. It had been an even longer time since we had a chance to get a picture of all 6 cousins in one spot. (Abve: Kirkland, Elizabeth, Makenna, Kailyn, Gavin, and Keegan) We hope to get them all together again before too long. We miss them and I am pretty sure that they miss each other too.

This Saturday was very different. This Saturday Dare and I started the adoption classes through DHS. It lasted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. Let me tell you...that is a really long time to have to sit still and listen to a lecture. Our teacher was really good though. She had several things for us to be able to participate in and she encouraged us to share what we know. Then she gave us homework.

You should see the big old manual that we have to get through over the next 4 weeks. The sad part is that there will still be other paper work for us to fill out. We know it will be worth it though. We are moving closer to having a new addition to our family. We are looking forward to adding one more cousin to the couch.
