| The BIG Game |
This past Monday Gavin and Mommy along with Grammie and Grandad attended Uncle Patrick's soccer game. Gavin watched attentively for about 15 to 20 minutes then promptly found other things to do. But if you think he wasn't paying attention to the game....you are wrong! Every little bit Gavin would look up and search for the ball. When he spotted it, he would proudly shout, "I see ball!" Gavin even had the opportunity to kick one of the soccer balls. What could make this day better? Well, we had been telling Gavin that his Uncle Patrick was out there playing, but Gavin wasn't too sure that he believed us. After the game, Grammie started walking across the field with Gavin to find Uncle Patrick. When Gavin spotted his Uncle Patrick he ran towards him as quick as he could. Uncle Patrick scooped him up in his arms and gave him a big hug. The day was perfect for Gavin!

Well, ever since we saw the "BIG" game. Gavin has wanted to see more. In his own words Gavin asks to go see his uncle play in the big ball game.
I think we have another sports fan on our hands...or is it just an Uncle Patrick fan?
Anyway, Uncle Patrick if you are reading this...you are missed.
