Connect the Dots: Difficult Times to Working for Good
I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.--Frodo to Gandalf (The Fellowship of the Ring)
So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.--Gandalf to Frodo (The Fellowship of the Ring)

No sleep. Wires and buttons everywhere. But still the same sweet Gavin.

We were all a little worried about how he would handle the EEG, but he was super! The lady who helped us could not believe how well he behaved. She gave him a huge handful of stickers for being such a good boy.

We wish Gavin never had to go through this, but we believe that God works all things to our good (even the difficult and painful). Romans 8:28

There are definitely "good forces" at work in our life! We don't see how God can possibly turn what the world has set against us into good, but we have seen the evidence that He can and will.

We have lived. We have learned. We still believe.

We were thankful to have Grandma here to help us with the bumps. In spite of the circumstances, we had a good visit and now hopefully Gavin and I can get some rest.

I am sure we will be talking to you all soon. Have a great weekend.

It wasn't fun getting him to wake up at 5 this morning after putting him to bed around 11. He was really mad at me this morning for I was the one to wake him. I came home for lunch and he gave me a big hug and smile. Nothing phases that kid

    Gavin's a real trooper...er I mean Jedi. He's going to be great!
I'm praying for y'all, inbetween each tile...that's a lot of prayer. Ok, well, some of it is "God get me out of here.", but the other is for Gavin.
    See y'all soon.

He looks a little like Weapon X in that pic.
