What is the best thing you can do when it's hot? Eat ice cream? Maybe. Run around without a shirt? Maybe. Putting your feet in cold water? Now we're talking! That's exactly what Gavin, Heather, and Becky are doing. With us there is always a story about anything. There's a story behind the green pool. All I say it could have been a Nancey Drew title, "The Search for the Green Pool." (It couldn't have been blue or pink or purple. It had to be green.)

I'm glad it's a green pool. Right now the pool is the only thing that IS green in my yard. In the picture to the right, everywhere you see brown is where green grass should be. Can you say dry??? Heather may find it useful in keeping three kids. I don't know how she'll do it with just herself.

It's safe to assume for you to think we are having a good weekend. I can say that. Gavin can say that. Heather and Becky may have a different opinion. Heather hasn't been feeling really good over the past few weeks. Her migraines, numbness, pain, etc have come back with a vengence. Heather had to skip church this morning because her pain was so great. I hate saying anything bad about my wife, but this morning (well, the last several days) she has not looked good. She hasn't had this many problems for at least 3 months. Within the last month, her body has turned against her. Don't you guys worry. She's strong. She'll be feeling better pretty soon. She has energy during the day, but crashes at night. She's been able to rest this weekend. That will help.

Anyway, I didn't mean to go into all that. I couldn't control my fingers. Bad fingers! BAD!!!! I think when Gavin wakes from his nap he and I may jump in his pool. That would be fun.
