Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training

There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos; there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force.

All I have to say is the Jedi know how to raise their kids. I mean look at the Jedi Code. The Jedi parents teach how to be peaceful. They defend and protect. They never attack. They respect ALL life. They always serve someone else. They continue their hunt for knowledge. In fact, I believe even non-Jedi parents want to teach their kids the same things. I don't think any parent would teach their children to be mean and rude and whatever considered a part of the dark side. I think some parents choose to not be pro-active in their kids lives, and that's why some children turn into gangstas. Enough about my parenting tips. On with the blog!!!!!!!!!

Heather is really doing a good job managing three kids. She came up with a great idea. She's posted a rules sheet. She was smart. She came up with 2 simple rules. 1) No hitting and 2) No taking someone else's toy (no stealing). She realized she was the only reader in the house. She decided to add some artwork and pictures. I came home and saw what she did. I became so proud that I wanted to take a photo and brag on my sweet wife. Way to go!

Haven, Xander, and Gavin are all enjoying spending time together. I'm sure each day will be different. I know next Tuesday will be interesting. Heather's play group meets Tuesday. How will that work? I'm sure I'll get the inside scoop probably as it happens.

I've been a little distracted this week. My brother (Brian) and his wife went to court yesterday to work out the details of their divorce (sad). I don't know all the details on what happened. For what I was able to gather, it may have been ugly. Elaine has full custody of the kids and Brian gets unsupervised visitation. That's as much as I know. Please keep those two and their three kids in your prayers.

You see. Rules are important. Enough said...

I talked to Heather this afternoon. She said Gavin was pointing to the rule sheet and saying "NO. NO. NO" Makes me wonder if he got in trouble today. There's no telling.
