| Just a small heart attack |
For about 6 out of 8 hours today I spent wondering if I still have a job. Apparantly, since the call center is not brining in any new contract, the company is having to reduce staff. Effective next Monday, several positions would be eliminated. Don't worry. Mine is safe (for now). The end of July may hold a different story. If no work is established, another round of cuts would occur. If something likes that happens, I would not have to leave the company just yet. I would be given 90 days to find other work inside the company. The company will do its best to fill vacant positions within the company. It really gives me 3 months before the company actually lets me go. For that, I'm grateful. I'm sorry if I had worried you folks today. All is well.
