| Early indications |
Well the early indications about our car is we may have cracked the head gaskets. The mechanic won't know for sure until they take the engine apart. One mechanic puts an estimate to about $1200. That's only speculation. There's no telling what other damage is to the engine. Usually if there's a problem with the head gasket, there are other problems. I'm not even going there at this time. I do know that the head gasket problem is the result of the car breaking down. I want to know what caused it in the first place. The way things happened I'm suspecting there's a problem with the transmission as well.
I'm having our car towed from the dealership in Conway to a local mechanic. I won't know for sure what I'm dealing with until the engine is taken apart. Either way, it's a lot more than I expected. It's going to be one expensive repair job.
God has been faithful by providing for us in the past. I have trust and faith God will provide an answer. I can't see it, but isn't that what faith is all about? Faith is hoping for something you can't see. If I could see the answer, I wouldn't rely on faith. I'll keep you posted. |
