Thanksgiving
Four families, Three Dogs, 2 grandparents, and 1 house are the main features for this year's thanksgiving festivities. We had four familes represented at our Thanksgiving Day dinner. There were members from the Corbin, Bishop, Graham, and Phillips' households present. It was kinda nice. You see, we didn't have to do ALL the cooking. Brandi did the turkey, mashed potatoes, peas, banana pudding, and an apple cake. Heather did the ham, green beans, rolls (with the help of Brenda), and the dressing and gravy. Brenda did the sweet potatoes. Becky made a Chocolate pie. I think this was the least-stressed Thanksgiving dinner I've witnessed in a long time. Heather didn't have to do it all. Which is great! I can only imagine how much she would be hurting if she had to do everything. The food was great. Thank you everyone.

Now what on earth do three dogs have to do with Thanksgiving. Everyone knows we already have three dogs. One is on the inside and two are outside. No big deal. What if I told you we had three dogs on the inside? You'd probably think Gavin let Cinder and Jaida in. Not this time (and don't give Gavin any ideas). Brenda and Bruce (aka Grammie and Grandad) now have two dogs of the same breed. Not only did we have to watch our elbow room, but we had to watch where our feet were going. Small dogs in the kitchen are a hazard. They survived by mainly sleeping through everything.

Grammie and Grandad make up the two grandparents. And the one house was ours. We had a good time. However, I had to ruin the fun by going to work Thursday evening. Yeah, I had to work from 3-8 on Thanksgiving Day. That was the roughest five hours. All I wanted to do was sleep. Well, this wraps up turkey day for 2006. Keep checking for updates. Our Christmas list will be coming soon.
