| The Force Runs Strong in Our Family |
Luke: If I don't make it back, you're the only hope for the Alliance. Princess Leia: Luke, don't talk that way. You have a power I don't understand and could never have. Luke: You're wrong, Leia. You have that power too. In time you'll learn to use it as I have. The Force runs strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. And... my sister has it. Yes. It's you, Leia. Princess Leia: I know. Somehow, I've always known. ------Memorable quotes forStar Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) *********************************************************************************** The force is also very strong in our family. Darren has reluctantly been giving up control of his Star Wars room for a while now. Each step he takes towards releasing it is a big accomplishment. One of the biggest yet was when he passed on his X-wing and Tie Fighter to Gavin.
I wish that you could have seen the two of them zooming their spaceships all through the house. Gavin was in his words "the good guy" and Daddy was the "mean guy".
Their battle to be the best spaceship ranged all over the space we call home. It finally ended in a truce as the fighter pilots became too exhausted to continue.
However, after a quick refueling for the hereos, they were off again ready to keep the galaxy safe for the rest of us.
So, do we have another Jedi in the family? I think so. Like father, Like son!

Darren, I feel your pain. I had to give up my Coca-Cola room when we were preparing for the girls. Definately worth every bit of it. It's mostly up in the atic now, but Angie had pitty on me and let me turn the guest bathroom into a Coca-Cola bathroom. At least you can play Star Wars with Gavin. My kiddos just get to look at stuff hanging on the wall and shelves. Not much fun really.
I'm so excited that you guys are getting to adopt! Such a blessing!
