March 08, 2006 ...and the wind is sucked out of me. Yesterday's post had some excitment. I felt good about starting classes Thursday. This morning the wind was knocked out of me. Mr. JBU called and said the Director of Admissions thinks it's too late for me to get in the program. Main reason is my computer wouldn't be ready and that would put me behind. I'm bummed. Heather has a friend with good contacts with the university. I don't think that will help. I feel like the guy that won second place: A lot of effort jsut a little too late.
