| INR N HRC Y NO MOVE??? |
Ok.................. I've lost my mind now. For those who have a comment, HUSH! I know what I'm doing. (I think) I bet you're trying to figure out what the title means. INR is the blood level the doctor has been monitoring. N is short for in. HRC is Heather Renee Corbin. Y? Come on guess.
Heather saw the doctor Friday to find out her INR dropped a point. INR stands for International Normalized Ratio (Click INR to learn more) A normal INR is between 2-3. Anything higher or lower it means your blood is In Need of Repair. Heather is below 2. Since the first time her blood was drawn, her INR was 1.1. The lower the number the greater chance for blood clots. A week ago her INR was up to 1.4. Friday it came down to 1.3. The doctor's goal is to get it to 1.5 for now. The doctor didn't want to raise the dosage of the rat poison because of some of the side effects Heather reported. He's hoping that the "pot's been stirred enough" to not cause any problems.
Heather has a week off from getting her blood drawn. Here's an interesting fact. Heather has had her blood drawn every week since Jan 6. The doctor tends to think Heather's veins could use a break. Heather goes back to Dr. Baltz on Feb. 24.
Sorry to interrupt your day. We now continue with our scheduled programming. |
