This is the new building for the Church at Rock Creek. It is HUGE! The worship center is awe-inspiring, but that's not the focus of this building. So, what is the focus? It's the town square. What is the town square? Well, in a nut-shell, I really can't describe it. It's where life is going to happen. The worship center is used on Sundays and Mondays mainly. The town square is used every day for different reasons. The town square will have a lot of sitting area for people to come in and fellowship or meet a business partner or mother's can share stories of their kids. The town square has free wireless internet connection. On one end there is a cafe and bookstore. There's a two-story indoor playground area for the kids. (I wouldn't be surprised to find some adults on that thing as well, like myself and Heather) Side note: I took Gavin to the church last Saturday. His mouth fell open and he traced all the tubes with his finger. He wanted to play so bad, but we couldn't. The workers were putting the finishing touches on. This is a church that you have never seen before. There's no feeling of "religion" or "churchy" when you're in this building. It's not just church. It's life. Easter Sunday is the big day! Two reasons: It's Easter Sunday. (do i need to explain?) and The Church at Rock Creek is coming home. The doors will be open to all Easter Sunday. You have probably heard or seen ads regarding this. Mark Evans, Senior Pastor, is so excited about our new home that he is inviting everyone to "Make Our New Home... Your New Home!" This church is home for me and my family. As you are all aware, Heather and I open our home to anyone that needs it. In the same regard, the Church at Rock Creek will open their home to anyone that needs it for whatever the reason. For more information check out the link "Church at Rock Creek" over on the right. It has more information about the church as well as directions to the new building and the new worship times.
