Welcome to my attempt at a blog. Any jokes or wise cracks should be kept to a minimum or the force will deal with you.
Well, Darren the Dashing, Heather the Hilarious, and Gavin the Gifted have kept a low pro-file. Why draw attention to ourselves? However, I think it's time to spread some joy to family and friends. It's time to let down our guard and let you guys in. Here's what we've been doing: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
NOT A THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin is doing really good. For those who have no clue, he's now 2 years old. He's a tall 2 year old. He's not a bean pole either. That boy has some meat on him! I compare him to a miniature linebacker, and he has the speed for it as well. I'm sure you've heard the song "10 foot tall and bulletproof." Well, Gavin is 3 foot tall and bulletproof. Nothing phases that kid. Yeah, he'll scream bloody murder if he bumps his head too hard, but he just keeps going. Gavin has one speed (and it's stuck): SUPERCHARGE-GET-OUT-OF-MY-WAY-I'M-COMING! Gavin has just recently figured out he has some wills. I talked to mommy today, and they are having the battle of the wills. I'm not sure who will win this battle. They are both strong in their ways. Speaking of Heather, she's doing very good. She's just as sweet and kind as ever. Heather is busy with Gavin all day. She's doing a wonderful job of teaching him things about life and about God. She's motivating me to become a better father and husband. Everything she does, it turns out perfect. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. She keeps me on my toes. I try to stay out of trouble. No matter what I do, trouble always finds me. It's like the force. It surrounds me and penetrates. I'm enjoying me new position at Blue Cross. I'm actually in the Medicare program and it goes be a different title. I work for Pinnacle Business Solutions, Inc, a subsidiary of Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. I'm a quality assurance analyst, and I'm loving it! I've been working out with a buddy every Tuesday night. Yeah, I'm actually trying to get back in shape. I wish I could see the shape of my waist to shrink. It just continues to be a shape.
Life is good for us. We'll be having Thanksgiving at our house. I'm going have to work the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone is invited to our place for dinner. Only thing is call Heather before you show up. How bad do you think she'll hurt me if I invite people and didn't tell her? Come on folks. Work with me.
I'll try to get some photos on here and other stuff. I'll try to get a wish list posted so you all can see what Santa should bring us. Everyone take care.
